Marigold Library System Conference 2026

The Marigold Library System Conference is an annual one day conference providing learning sessions on topics relevant to library staff and board members in Marigold and beyond.

The 2026 Marigold Library System Conference will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The theme of the conference is Together Toward Tomorrow.

Collaboration is at the heart of library work, whether that's collaborating with our communities, team members, stakeholders, or other libraries. We invite you to join us this day to reflect on how we can work together as a library community to confront obstacles, tackle problems, and overcome adversity.

Early Bird Tickets will be on sale until March 27, 2026.

Marigold has set aside a block of hotel rooms at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre for conference attendees. These rooms are offered at a reduced date until March 27. To reserve a room, please contact Hotel Reservations at 1-800-661-1464 and ask for the "Marigold Library System Block."

If you are a Marigold Member Library Staff or board member, Marigold will cover the cost of up to two hotel rooms for one night. Hotel room bookings will only be available during Early Bird Ticket sales. Please indicate when prompted when you register for the conference that you will require a hotel room. You will be required to provide a credit card at check-in and may be charged a room deposit fee, which the hotel will refund after your stay. 

The regular registration deadline is May 1, 2026.

Please note that there will be no refunds given unless under specific circumstances. No refunds will be issued at all after May 1, 2026.
