Introduction/Advanced Jewelry Making: Mixed-Level Course
This class will be a combination of introductory students and students that are advanced in jewelry making. This course is for anyone wishing to learn basic metalsmithing and jewelry-making techniques! Students will learn how to solder and fabricate with metal; learning the fine hand-skills to create bracelets, rings, and pendants. Basic techniques will be introduced, such as sawing, texturing, filing, and polishing. The instructor will work with the students to create individual, creative projects utilizing their newfound skills. Advanced students should be self-directed, learning new techniques from the instructor as requested. $30 materials fee is included in the cost of the course.

San Diego Community Education Classes are to provide diverse, affordable personal and professional enrichment workshops to the community including courses in a wide variety of areas. These classes are self-supporting and offered for a minimal fee.
Refund Policy
A full refund will be made if Community Education cancels a class or is unable to continue the class. If an attendee cancels at least 3 business days prior to the start of the class, enrollment fees will be refunded minus a $15 cancellation fee. Enrollment fees will not be refunded if an attendee cancels with less than 3 business days’ notice or if the attendee fails to attend all or part of the course. Exchanges are permitted at no cost up to 3 days before the start of a class.
