Get ready for a flavorful and unforgettable evening with chef, entrepreneur, and Tsion Café founder Beejhy Barhany in celebration of Sigd, the ancient Ethiopian Jewish holiday that honors both communal unity and the giving of the Torah. Observed 50 days after Yom Kippur, Sigd is a time of reflection, renewal, and connection to heritage. Barhany will share stories and recipes from her debut cookbook, Gursha: Timeless Recipes & Ancient Traditions from the Horn of Africa, bringing to life the rich flavors and cultural traditions of her Ethiopian-Jewish roots through food, storytelling, and conversation. Light refreshments will be served!
