Description

Join us at the King Eddy on January 10 for a night of hip-hop, R&B, and — yes — some explosive jazz to close the circle. Midnight Channel takes the stage with Calgary’s own (un)decided opening the night.

Make this the night you shake off the winter haze. Bring someone who’s overdue for a good show and let the music take over.

About Midnight Channel (Lethbridge):

Supporting their sophomore album Alien Love Songs, which reached #10 on the National Earshot! Jazz Charts, Midnight Channel blends 1960s cosmic free jazz with post-bop, Japanese fusion, and neo-soul grooves — a sound that feels both grounded in tradition and open to the future. Their live sets are electric: full of emotion, improvisation, and joy. Whether you’re deep into jazz or just curious, this band meets you where you are and takes you somewhere else.

About (un)decided (Calgary):

An 8-piece band from Calgary formed through a shared love of musical expression, jamming, and freestyle cyphers. Their original sound blends neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, Afrobeats, and funk, with each song shaped by the diverse cultural and artistic backgrounds of our members. After a breakout performance at Sled Island and regular performances in the city, they are now working toward releasing our first two singles.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
