Dreamy alt-pop artist Micah Sage brings her album release show to the legendary King Eddy stage on November 8. Singer-songwriter Eden Taylor will open the show.

About Micah Sage:

Micah Sage is an Alternative/Pop artist based in Calgary, Alberta. She is a self-taught writer, multi-instrumentalist and producer.  Her sound (inspired by Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Lizzy McAlpine)  is dreamy, soulful, cinematic and entirely her own.

Micah Sage debuted her self-titled EP in June 2023, which is self-written, played, recorded and primarily self-produced. She has been featured on Local, Commercial (X92.9 Alt, & 98.5 iHeart Virgin Radio), Provincial, Campus and SiriusXM radio across Canada. The EP also placed in the Top 30 Charts on CJSW (Calgary), and has over 90K streams across streaming platforms. The record also received two nominations for the 2024 YYC Music Awards (Sep. 2024). Sage has been featured in the Calgary Guardian, The Reflector newspaper, and interviewed on multiple CBC Radio One sites. Additionally Sage has appeared on TV on Global News Calgary, and her own hour-long episode of ‘Stampede City Sessions’ which airs on KSPS PBS across North America. Micah Sage finished off 2023 by selling out her first headlining show at the iconic King Eddy in Calgary, and recently played the Coca-Cola Stage at the Calgary Stampede in July 2024.

About Eden Taylor:

Eden Taylor is a genre-blending singer-songwriter from Calgary, Alberta, known for her powerful voice and heartfelt originals that span pop, country, soul, blues, and rock. A former performer with The Young Canadians, Eden has played over 300 stages across North America, including festivals, clubs, and major venues like the Southern Jubilee and Granville Island’s Waterfront Theatre.

 


Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

King Eddy offers both seats and standing room at our shows. If you purchase a seated ticket, you will have a reserved seat for the show. Tables may be shared with other ticket holders. Established in 1905, the King Edward Hotel was Calgary’s second oldest hotel and the longest operating bar and hotel when it closed in 2004. In 2008, the Eddy was acquired by the National Music Centre (NMC) and in collaboration with the City of Calgary.
