Roberta Joan Mitchell, professionally known as Joni Mitchell, is one of Canada’s most iconic and influential singer-songwriters. Drawing from folk, pop, rock, and jazz, Mitchell’s songwriting touched on social and environmental ideals and often delved deeply into personal confessions of romance, confusion, disillusionment and joy. She has received innumerable accolades, notable among them being an impressive collection of no less than nine Grammy Awards. AllMusic has stated that, “When the dust settles, Joni Mitchell may stand as the most important and influential female recording artist of the late 20th century.”

Coming to Hugh’s Room Live, hosted by 3030 Dundas St. West Thursday March 30, 2023 is an intimate tribute by some of the finest musicians from within the city and beyond. Each performer on the ticket will take turns on stage offering up their own stirring interpretations of Joni Mitchell recordings from across her career. We are overjoyed to announce:
