Hi everyone,

We are very disappointed to tell you all this, but we have made a joint decision with the Faculty of Medicine to cancel Med Ball this year. As future physicians and health professionals, we feel compelled to abide by the newly released government of Canada guidelines surrounding COVID-19 banning gatherings of greater the 250 people. Given the volatility of the situation with COVID-19, we unfortunately have no plans at this time to reschedule Med Ball.

We know that Med Ball is a cornerstone event which students look forward to every year, and we feel so badly that students this year, especially those in first year, have to miss out on the experience.

Details surrounding reimbursements will come in the next few days.

Again, we are very disappointed to share this news.

It's that time of the year again: MedBall 2020: The Roaring 20's! All four years of UBC Medicine will come together for an evening of dinner, dancing, and entertainment. Come join us for the most magical night of the year, so put down your stethoscopes and put on your best suits and flapper dresses! 💫✨

Tickets start from only $70, and are sold in three tiers. Ticket sale ends on March 9th, 2020.

To ensure that everyone can attend and party stress-free, the evening is call protected for 3rd and 4th years. Distributed sites, please contact your site leader for travel funding.
