Join Matthew Presidente and his incredible band for an unforgettable night as they celebrate the release

of the highly anticipated new album Chosen Sun with a concert you won’t want to miss. Expect multiple

costume changes, surprise moments, and a thrilling mix of new tracks alongside fan favourites and deep

cuts.

Matthew will be joined onstage by his powerhouse band: Brad Pedwell, Mikey Chamzuk, and Ian

Malinski. And adding an extra layer of magic to the night, the legendary Vancouver saxophonist Mike WT

Allen will be making an appearance!

But that’s not all - - - there will be drag!! Onstage with the band will be the fabulous Wanting Moi (host of

The Drama Club, Georgia Straight’s Best Drag Show 2024), bringing her signature sass and vocal ability.

The charismatic and captivating AndrogynAss (Vancouver's reigning Next Drag Superstar) will be your

host for the evening, ensuring a night of laughter, glamour, and electric energy.

This is a one-of-a-kind event featuring great talent, sizzling performances, and some seriously hot looks!

Doors open at 7:00pm, so get there early to grab a great spot, enjoy the pre-show entertainment, and

prepare for the main event, starting at 8:15pm. Still in the mood to party? The Roxy is inviting us all to

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Vancouver’s piano man, Matthew Presidente is a bold rock/pop songwriter. Whether performing solo or

with his full band, the high energy piano-based performer connects with the crowd through passionate

performances.

Referred to as “one of — if not — the best singer/songwriters our LGBT scene has” by Xtra Magazine

(Vancouver), Matty left his career to pursue music full-time in 2022 – he released 5 singles, toured BC,

and will be releasing a new album ‘Chosen Sun’ on Jan 24th, 2025. In 2023 alone, he performed over 100

shows, including notable venues The Fox, The Chapel, The Shipyards and The Hollywood. He has been

enthusiastically recognized on Pride stages across the province. He co-wrote/performed a musical, ‘Pretty

Package Piano Bar’, for Kelowna Fringe with drag artists Toddy and Ella Lamaroux as well as a touring

production supported by Heritage BC titled ‘Unicorns Reawakened’.
