Matt Wright live in Vancouver!

Matt Wright is a two time JUNO Award nominated stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who has appeared on multiple televised galas for Just For Laughs, Winnipeg, and Halifax Comedy Festivals. He has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, John Mulaney, Theo Von among others, and regularly tours comedy clubs and theatres across the country.

Matt wrote for six seasons on CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes where he was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award, as well as multiple episodes of Still Standing. As a filmmaker, his short "Snowstorm Roulette" was nominated for Best International Short at the Austin Comedy Festival. Matt recently released his debut comedy special ‘Live at The Majestic’ which can be streamed on Youtube.

This show will be presented in the Salazar Stage (Main floor).

Accessibility

Please note that the venue has two separate spaces, upstairs and downstairs. All show listings should indicate which room they’re in on the description. Please ensure you note the location as both spaces do not have the same level of accessibility. 

The front entrance has power assisted doors. 

There’s a powered lift from street level to the main performance space. For more information on the limitations of our lift, please check out our website.

The venue has six private washrooms on the main floor, one of which is fully accessible with a power assisted door. The theatre doors to the main space are not power assisted at this time. The second floor is not accessible and is up two flights of stairs.
