Description
Three women in their thirties come "home" to Cape Breton to be with their dying mother. Each in her own way tries to deal with the painful loneliness of their lives - each is trying to reconcile what they habve become with what they thought they wanted out of life and with what they thought their parents wanted for them. Nothing, of course, has turned out exactly the way anyone imagined it would.
Directed by Kathleen Duborg and starring:
Alison Wandzura as Agnes
Julie Lynn Mortensen as Theresa
Grace Evenson as Louise

ALISON WANDUZRA
After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Calgary, Alison packed her bags and moved to Vancouver in 2010 to pursue a career in Hollywood North. Since then, she’s been fortunate to keep busy in the world of film and television, and is now delighted to be back on stage in her first production with Peninsula Productions. Alison is overjoyed to be working with the powerhouse team behind Marion Bridge. Huge thanks to Kathleen for her insightful direction, and to her on-stage “sisters,” Julie Lynn and Grace, for making this journey as moving as it is hilarious. She couldn’t ask for better company to laugh, cry, and indulge in cookies at rehearsals with.
