Mark Robertson, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, frontman of Montreal’s internationally acclaimed pop band Bullfrog, has toured Europe and America as guitarist for Kid Koala, bassist for Money Mark and showcased his unique artistry as a solo artist. Robertson has shared the stage with heavyweights such as Marcus Miller, Manu Katché, and Vernon Reid, and has opened for renowned artists like Maceo Parker, The Wailers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, SoulLive, Yaël Naim, Martha Highs and many more.

With a catalog that includes two Bullfrog EPs featuring Kid Koala, as well as the LP on RopeaDope Records / WEA USA, Robertson co-wrote for Kid Koala’s celebrated record "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" and DJ Vadim’s "Reconstruction LP." His first EP, "Deeper Shade of Green," launched him into the spotlight, leading to performances at Canadian Jazz Festivals, including a memorable set at the Montreal Jazz Fest in 2004.

Robertson's debut LP, "Favorite People," premiered in 2008 at the Montreal Jazz Fest, where he performed solo at the prestigious Place des Arts and with a full band on Ste-Catherine St. The album was later re-released in Europe by SoulBeat Records in 2009, highlighted by a feature on Arte TV’s "One Shot Not," alongside legends Marcus Miller on bass and Manu Katché on drums.

With influences from classic songwriters such as the Bee Gees, Randy Newman, and Curtis Mayfield, Robertson’s mellow, soulful, urban folk album "Made Easy for Guitar" was released in 2020 with BongoBeat Records. It features the single "Winter Daughter," showcasing his distinctive style and songwriting prowess.

Currently, Robertson is gearing up for the release of his new project, “Macmono and the Stereotypes,” set for 2026, where he returns to the funky, lo-fi sounds reminiscent of Bullfrog, blending faux-disco, roller-rock, and country-funk with soulful urban folk. His latest single, “Mama’s Got a Brand New Hip,” was released in fall 2023. Additionally, he recently recorded guitar parts for Kid Koala's latest film, "Space Cadet," further cementing his position as a versatile artist in the music industry.

Tin Constellations

Tin Constellations is an indie folk band from Ottawa, ON, whose music feels both familiar and surprising. Their sound blends melodic stories, rich harmonies, and the kind of sing-along moments that invite audiences to become part of the performance. Tin Cons’ third EP, COBDEN, recorded with Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn, dropped in front of a sold out crowd at The Gladstone Theatre on January 10, 2026. Two previous EP releases resulted in solid radio play locally/provincially, frequent capacity shows in Ottawa and across Ontario and Quebec.

Mark Robertson, auteur-compositeur-interprète, multi-instrumentiste et leader du groupe pop montréalais Bullfrog, acclamé internationalement, a fait des tournées en Europe et en Amérique en tant que guitariste pour Kid Koala, bassiste pour Money Mark et a démontré son talent artistique unique en tant qu'artiste solo. Robertson a partagé la scène avec des poids lourds tels que Marcus Miller, Manu Katché et Vernon Reid, et a fait la première partie d'artistes renommés tels que Maceo Parker, The Wailers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, SoulLive, Yaël Naim, Martha Highs et bien d'autres.

Tin Constellations

Tin Constellations est un groupe folk indépendant originaire d'Ottawa, en Ontario, dont la musique est à la fois familière et surprenante. Leur son mêle des histoires mélodiques, des harmonies riches et des moments où le public est invité à chanter en chœur, ce qui lui permet de participer au spectacle. Le troisième EP de Tin Cons, COBDEN, enregistré avec Dave Draves au Little Bullhorn, est sorti devant une salle comble au Gladstone Theatre le 10 janvier 2026. Les deux EP précédents ont été largement diffusés à la radio locale et provinciale, et ont donné lieu à de nombreux concerts à guichets fermés à Ottawa, en Ontario et au Québec.
