Description
Lunacy, presented by Beakerhead
It’s 2041. Jay ingram and the Beakerhead Band are back in Jasper with “Lunacy”, their updated history of our obsession with the Moon. But there’s one big difference: people are now living on the moon and Jay is one of them.
Join Jay broadcasting from the Moon and The Band live onstage in Jasper on October 23rd – a must for anyone who thinks they’d like to make their home on Earth’s satellite
Drone Light Show
Art, science, wonder and culture mix together in the Jasper Dark Sky Festival’s newest signature event. Watch as the sky fills with moving lights (controlled by hundreds of drones) that smoothly tell an Indigenous origin story about the skies. Narrated by local Indigenous Knowledge Keeper Matricia Bauer, this spectacle will be a must-see and an enchanting option for the whole family.
*The venue is implementing the Restrictions Exemption Program in order to safely welcome guests. Learn more here.
*The show has been programmed for optimal viewing from Commemoration Park. People who might gather on the south side of Centennial Park, or west side will be able to see “something”, but it won’t be optimal.
