Description
We’re lost! Audience members set off on a treacherous ocean voyage and are blown way off course. Their only way home: the stars. In this interactive session, audiences will learn how to navigate with only the night sky. We will start with a brief tour of the night sky and how it works. Once oriented, we will try to determine our location and time, and then hopefully … find our way home. This is a specially adapted show for kids.
Please note that children under 8 can sometimes be frightened when we zoom into celestial objects. The planetarium is not like a TV screen - it's an immersive environment, and the perspective could be unsettling for younger kids who are not yet able to process the information. We obviously want to create a positive environment for kids' learning, and you know them best and what they can handle. If individuals are disruptive you may be asked to leave, and re-admission is not possible. All attendees, including infants in arms, require a ticket due to fire and safety capacity codes.
All ticket sales are final. Please use our Directions page for information on parking and getting to the planetarium.
