"Local Landscape: Playing with Style" Watercolour Workshop

We have different ways of viewing a scene and unique ways of expressing the same scene

through our own creations. In this class we will be painting a gorgeous view from Knox

Mountain looking north on Okanagan Lake. You will have the opportunity to play with stylistic

interpretation of this scene, whether that’s realistic, whimsical, minimalist or something

uniquely your own. Professional artist Janice Keirstead will step you through various

watercolour techniques such as wet-in-wet, dry brush, shading, graded washes and soft edges.

All skill levels are welcome. Benefits include a brushstroke of brilliance, a splash of success and

a dab of dopamine.
