LMG Summer Comedy Competition 2026: Semi-Finals

The field narrows! The comics who survived the preliminaries return to fight for a spot in the final. The audience votes alongside a panel of guest judges to decide who advances, and the top comic of the night wins $100. On the line is a spot in the finals, with a $1,500 grand prize and two spots on LMG's weekend shows later in the year for the winner, plus two weekend-show spots for the runner-up. Who makes the final? Come down to the show and vote for your favourites to find out!

This show will be presented in the Salazar Stage (Main floor).

Accessibility

Please note that the venue has two separate spaces, upstairs and downstairs. All show listings should indicate which room they’re in on the description. Please ensure you note the location as both spaces do not have the same level of accessibility. 

The front entrance has power assisted doors. 

There’s a powered lift from street level to the main performance space.

The venue has six private washrooms on the main floor, one of which is fully accessible with a power assisted door. The theatre doors to the main space are not power assisted at this time. The second floor is not accessible and is up two flights of stairs.
