LIVE SCRIPT READING: QUEEN OF THE VAMPIRE PENGUINS

Join a cast of actors for a live script reading of the upcoming Alberta feature-length film QUEEN OF THE VAMPIRE PENGUINS.

This is a FREE event, open to the public, and a great opportunity to experience a film in the early stages of development. There will be a Q&A following the reading and the production team is open to script feedback.

THE STORY:
Inspired by true events, QUEEN OF THE VAMPIRE PENGUINS is a genre comedy with teeth and pointy beaks. After a researcher at a remote Antarctic station falls mysteriously ill, a pair of specialized air rescue teams is dispatched to evacuate him during the brutal southern winter. But the ice hides dangerous secrets (it’s in the title!) Will anyone escape alive? Can vampire penguins fly? Come find out!

Presented in partnership with the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) Alberta, this annual event provides an opportunity for Alberta filmmakers to share a script in the early stages of development.
