Ashley Ghostkeeper Live at Whiskey Rose

Métis artist Ashley Ghostkeeper brings her powerful voice and storytelling to the Whiskey Rose stage. Raised in Alberta and inspired by family jam sessions in her Red Deer home, Ashley began writing songs at a young age and quickly developed a deep connection to music as a form of expression, healing, and connection.

Blending heartfelt songwriting with the sounds of pedal steel, fiddle, keys, and classic honky-tonk influences, Ashley’s music has been featured on major playlists including Apple Music’s The Lodge, Indigenous Now, Boots & Mocs, and SiriusXM CBC Country. She has also earned three #1 songs on the Canadian Top Indigenous Music Countdown and reached #5 on the Canadian Top 40 Indigenous Music Countdown.

Since 2021, Ashley has performed everywhere from intimate clubs to festivals and arena stages, while also taking part in programs, workshops, and performances within school communities.

Her dedication to her craft has led to multiple nominations including YYC Indigenous Artist of the Year (2024, 2025), Solo Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Single of the Year, and Country Recording of the Year, along with Country Music Alberta Fan’s Choice nominations (2023–2025) and Horizon Female Artist of the Year (2024).
