He’s earned nominations for the Americana Music Awards’ Instrumentalist of the Year and Best Acoustic Blues Artist. He has collaborated with Jerry Douglas and toured with Bruce Hornsby, Iron and Wine and others. Martin Harley explores roots, blues and slide guitar in a style The Guardian referred to as “Spellbinding”.  Harley has released eight albums to date, four recorded on home soil and four across the Atlantic in Texas and Nashville.  Recent nominations include AMA instrumentalist of the year and Best Acoustic Blues artist.  Known for his spellbinding slide guitar and ability to blend Americana, Blues, and Folk, Harley captivated audiences in appearances at Glastonbury and sold-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall highlighting his dynamic stage presence.  His latest release, the ambitious Morning Sun, showcases his finest songwriting to date.  Harley’s heartfelt music continues to push boundaries in contemporary roots.  He creates a down-to-earth sound that is both intimate and engaging.
