Live from the Rock Folk Festival

The Live from the Rock Folk Festival is an annual music and arts festival located on the beautiful shore of Lake Superior in Red Rock, Ontario. Since the inaugural event held in August of 2003, Live from the Rock has become an annual tradition for music lovers from around the region, the country and the world. It is a grassroots festival organized and run by dedicated volunteers, supported by the Township of Red Rock, provincial and federal funding agencies as well as a variety of partners and sponsors.

Live from the Rock offers world class music on 3 daytime workshop-style stages, as well as an evening concert lineup on the main Festival Stage. The first notes can be heard floating across the lake beginning Friday and don’t stop until the Festival Stage closes late afternoon on Sunday.

For weekend pass holders, open field camping is available adjacent to the festival site allowing easy access to all stages, the Artisan Village, the Food Court, and the Festival Pub, as well as the Children's Tent, Playground and Splashpad. 

Attendees are also welcome to come by boat and dock in the full service Marina run by the Township of Red Rock.

Boaters and campers alike have access to potable water, washrooms, showers, laundry facilities and a wonderful cafe located in the Marina Building, within easy walking distance. You can also take a dip in Lake Superior right off the pier or take in the marine wildlife along the shore. 

Only blocks away there is a combined grocery/liquor store and a convenience store so you don't have to pack it all before leaving home.

There is no other experience like Live from the Rock Folk Festival. Come once and you'll be hooked for life!
