Description
Chinook Musical Society presents a series of high-quality musical acts every year under the name "Saturday Night Special".
We host performers from folk and country, to blues, Celtic and folk rock. While we do bring in acts from all over North America, and some international, we are especially proud to showcase Canadian and Alberta talent.
Each evening opens with our house band and two sets from our headliners.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, we welcome Little Miss Higgins to our Saturday Night Special stage!
Born in Brooks, Alberta, Little Miss Higgins (aka Jolene Higgins) struts and serenades her way onto any stage playing music brewed in early country blues, jazz and folk. She uses guitar and voice as her main instruments as well as her theatre background to bring a refreshing sound and story to the stage.
She has been influenced by a range of artists from Memphis Minnie and Billie Holiday to Joni Mitchell and Dolly Parton as well as the vast array of Canadian and International musicians and bands she has had the fortune to see live or even share the stage including kd lang, Corb Lund, Buddy Guy and Maria Muldaur.

Chinook Musical Society is a non-profit organization that hosts a series of 9-10 concerts a year under the name Saturday Night Special. We present high-quality musical acts at reasonable prices, that appeal to a diverse audience.
Refund Policy
Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, credit for the full amount of the purchase price of the show will be applied to a future show.
