Lindy Swing Night

Join us for Lindy Swing Night at the BAD Space, Friday February 7th. Doors open at 6:30, then learn Lindy Swing dance with Mz Jitterbug Debra Seeck at 7pm, followed by live music featuring Ginger & The Tonics at 8pm. No partner? No problem! We’ll still get you moving your feet. Don’t feel like dancing? You’re still welcome to come enjoy the band: Ginger & the Tonics are an eclectic, vocal jazz/swing ensemble from Portland OR, featuring veterans of the local swing/jazz scene. Lead by vocalist Heather Lynn and guitarist Twayn Williams, their sound is a wide-ranging modern swing style -- from straight renderings of classic swing dance tunes, punk jazz, surprising swing renditions of classic pop, original jazz compositions and beyond! Guaranteed to grab up your ears and inspire you to step out onto the dance floor!
