     presents Life Drawing!

 (Facilitated, Not Instructed)

Practice your drawing skills in a friendly, non-competitive environment. Featuring professional models who pose unclothed, with an emphasis on diversity in age, gender, and body shape. This group welcomes both amateur and experienced artists of all skill levels.

This series is facilitated by two instructors, Sandrine Pelissier, and Kenzie Pattillo, a reminder no formal instruction is provided.

Each 3-hour session includes a series of short warm-up poses (1–2 minutes), followed by a few longer poses (5 to 15–25 minutes).

Instructors & Bios:

Sandrine Pelisser

What you need to bring?

  • We provide life-drawing essentials: chairs, easels, a few drawing donkeys, and music.
  • Please bring your own drawing materials, paper, and board.
  • Artists typically use pencils, charcoal, ink, pastels, or watercolor. Poses are too short for acrylic or oil painting.
  • If you have a light, portable easel, you’re welcome to bring it.
  • There will be a mid-session break, feel free to bring food for yourself or to share

Parking

Extra parking is available on Seymour River Place and at the Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School parking lot.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to set up your workspace.

House Rules & Safety

  • Emergency Procedure: In the event of an emergency, exit through the front door and gather at the playground across from the building.

  • No Photography: Out of respect for our models’ privacy, no photography is permitted.

  • Phones: Please silence your cell phone.

  • Respect: Maintain a quiet environment and avoid comments about others’ work or models’ physical characteristics.
