LFS|US Annual Gala: Azora

LFS|US would like to present our second annual LFS Gala: Azora!

Azora is associated with "azure", meaning the bright blue colour of a cloudless sky. This name is linked to “Lapis lazuli", the intense azure colour stone. Lapis is the Latin word for "stone" and "lazuli" is the genitive form of the Medieval Latin "lazulum", which in turn derives from the Old Persian “lâžvard / lâžavard”, meaning "azure, heaven, sky"; this makes it the "stone of heaven" or "sky stone" or " azure stone".

This event is a formal reception and ceremony for all faculty students, graduates, staff of the Land and Food Systems to recognize all diverse leadership, community and academic talents of LFS.
