Hello Earth loving folk - lettuce come together and turnip the beet at this fun seedy social in support of the VIU Communitiy Peace Garden. 

Join us for an evening of great music, local food and drink specials, hands-on activities, and all the garden puns as we sow the seeds for a good time.  This event is a fund raiser to support the growth of the Peace Garden for years to come.  This is an opportunity for gardeners, growers, and friends to come together, talk dirty, and get excited for the season ahead. 

ABOUT US: The VIU Community Peace Garden germinated in 2008, and serves as a space for learning, gathering, and relationship building with nature and the food we depend on. We all eat for a living. Food growing, seed saving, plant medicine, identification and traditional ecological knowledge are all essential skills that we take with us on our lifelong journey. You are invited to participate in this nurturing space, to get your hands dirty, and to help cultivate community.
