Join Lake Bonavista School Council for our Family Dance!

Dance the night away with DJ Big Deez, enjoy fun activities,  win sweet prizes in our raffle, and take home some delicious treats in our Cake Walk.  

You only need one ticket for your whole family!

Fire capacity means that tickets for this event are extremely limited, so don't wait! 

Want a free family ticket?  Sign up to volunteer here and we'll send you a coupon code to redeem for your free ticket.  Hot tip:  A police record clearance is not required to volunteer for this event as it's a Lake Bonavista Elementary School Improvement Society event (Parent Council) and not a CBE event, so enlist a grandparent, aunt or uncle, or other loved one who may not normally get a chance to volunteer at our school.  The kids love showing off their school to these special people and we have it on good authority that grandmas and grandpas love it too!  *NOTE:  If we do not fill our volunteer roster, this event will need to be CANCELLED.  

Our dance is a cashless event.  Our "Funny Money" tokens will act as cash throughout the night and can be used at the concession, cake walk, and raffle. Additional LBS Funny Money can be purchased on site with cash, debit, or credit.

      $1 for 1 Funny Money token

      $5 for 6 Funny Money tokens (Save 17%)

      $20 for 25 Funny Money tokens (Save 20%)

      $50 for 75 Funny Money tokens (Save 33%)

For example, to participate in the following activities, you will need:

      Cake walk entry= 1 Funny Money token per round

      Raffle entries = 1 Funny Money token per entry

      Concession = Funny Money token value may vary from 1-5 tokens

      Glitter Tattoos = 3 Funny Money tokens

      Balloon Twisting = 3 Funny Money tokens

 

Cake Walk: The cake walk is like musical chairs. When the music stops, stand on a numbered spot.  If your number is randomly drawn, you win a cake or other treat!  If you'd like to donate a sweet treat (it doesn't have to be cake- donuts, cupcakes, rice krispie treats, etc. are also welcome), please sign up here.

Raffle: Enter your ticket in the corresponding draw for the prize that you want to win. Put all your eggs in one basket or spread out your chances- it's up to you!  If you would like to donate to the raffle, please email us.

 

Tickets will only be available at the door if we don't reach fire capacity; tickets will increase to $15/family at the door.

If cost is a barrier for your family to attend, please contact the school office and we can make accommodations.
