Launch Party: Community Meetup

About this event

You’re invited to join us for the year’s biggest innovation event, LaunchParty! This year's November Community Meetup celebrates 10 of Calgary’s brightest up-and-coming startups and the founders behind them.

We’ll start the evening with a mix & mingle at Melrose Restaurant, giving you the perfect chance to connect with other students. Afterward, we’ll all walk over to the LaunchParty together to continue the celebration.

Your ticket price includes entry to the LaunchParty event (with food) and the mix & mingle before the event at Melrose Restaurant. Available to MRU students, alumni, staff, and faculty only. Please register with your MRU email.

What is it?

This event is part of our Community Meetups, hosted by the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for MRU's innovation and entrepreneurship-driven students and alumni. These opportunities to make informal connections help Mount Royal entrepreneurs stand out among their peers, landing jobs at Calgary's coolest startups and starting creative and disruptive ventures.

Pre Mix & Mingle

We are hosting a Pre Launch Party Mix & Mingle at Melrose Restaurant 5:30pm - 6:30pm before we walk over to the party. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and catch up with old ones— plus, you will have a crew to join you when you arrive at the Launch Party.
