LATE SUMMER PLAY WITH A PRO GROUP LESSONS - Tuesday Nights

DATES: Tuesdays (Aug 12, 19, 26, Sept 2) + Sept 5 Wrap Night

SCHEDULE:

• 6:45 - 7:50pm | Class start time (65 min lesson w/ Coach Greg)
• 7:50pm | Optional par 3 play out 

LOCATIONS:

• Lessons: Golf Fanatics (Aug 12, 19, 26, Sept 2)
• Wrap Night: Valley Ridge GC ~4:30 - 9:30pm (Sept 5)

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

• (4) 60-minute Group Lessons (1 Lesson at Practice Facility / 3 Lessons on par 3 course)

• (1) Wrap Night (Dinner & Drink, 9 Holes Greens Fee, Golf Cart at Valley Ridge GC)

COURSE CONTENT*:

Night 1: Preparing For A Successful Round

• Golfers will learn a full body warm-up routine to keep you feeling loose and healthy all season long.
• Hit the first tee with confidence by establishing a pre-round driving range routine featuring drills to take you through the various clubs in your bag.
• Finish with pre-round putting drills so your short game feels dialed right from the first hole.

Night 2: Target Alignment + Handling Hazards

• Learn how to improve golf shot accuracy off the tee box and fairway with drills to support better set-up positioning and target alignment. 
• No more sweating the hazards! Golfers will learn how to hit green-side bunker shots and gain confidence around water hazards.

Night 3: Play It As It Lies (Dealing With Trouble)

• Learn how to play your ball as it lies from tricky situations like punching out around trees/branches, uphill/downhill pitch shots, escape shots and how to hit fairway shots from the rough. 

Night 4: On-Course Management + Intro To “Drop” Rules

• Final lesson night will include a review of content taught in the first three sessions, but with an added "rules of golf" and on-course decision-making layer. 
• Golfers will gain an introductory understanding of how to apply rules and assess their options in four common trouble situations: lost ball, out of bounds/penalty area, cart path ball, water ball. 

Night 5: Wrap Night! 

• Golfers will join golf gals from the other Late Summer group lessons and play as a foursome in a 9-hole round at our iconic end of series finale—Wrap Night! 
• Includes 9-holes, cart, dinner, drink, tee gift + chances to win door prizes!
• Location: Valley Ridge GC

*While we always try to stick to our pre-determined course content, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather may require content modifications on the fly. Content is subject to change at coach’s sole discretion.

DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a beginner golf lesson for someone who has never picked up a club before. Play with a Pro on-course lessons are geared towards golfers who have already taken introductory golf lessons before (at minimum "MEDIUM" spicy level with Golf & Tacos) and are now ready to learn how to transfer those skills into the golf course setting. 

Golfers who are BRAND SPANKIN' NEW should first take a MILD Group Lesson with to of our amazing coaches!

A FEW MORE DETAILS:

• MEALS: Dinner is only included on Wrap Night (September 5). All other dates are lesson-only nights (but you should definitely plan golf gal patio dates with your group members on the other nights). 
• CLUBS: If you need to borrow clubs they are complimentary at all four of your lessons. You will need to pay to rent them at Valley Ridge GC or Golf Fanatics for Wrap Night. 
• WRAP NIGHT: Our final on-course night is called Wrap Night and will be on September 5 for all golfers registered in Late Summer lessons. MILD Golfers will be at the Par 3 at Golf Fanatics, MEDIUM | HOT/SPICY Golfers will be at Valley Ridge GC. Event details will be emailed to you a few days prior.

• REGISTRATION: You may register for a friend at check out. You will be required to add their first and last name, phone number, and email address in order to check out.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY:
Programs are operated by GOLF & TACOS | Calgary (Golf Fanatics) independently from other GOLF & TACOS | Calgary locations. All refunds must be processed through Showpass by contacting the organizer (GOLF & TACOS | Calgary - Golf Fanatics) directly. Programs cannot be transferred to another location. Locations will provide a partial refund (less the Processing and Showpass fees) for programs cancelled up to 10 days in advance of the event start date. Within 10 days, programs are non-refundable, however, we will accept transfers to another individual until the start date of the program. Purchaser is responsible for finding and communicating replacement to Golf & Tacos Calgary (Golf Fanatics). No refunds for individually missed dates or canceled programs will be offered, no substitutions for missed classes from non-registered participants. Please review all dates in the event description and make sure you can attend all dates prior to booking. Golf & Tacos does not guarantee, but will make a reasonable best effort to schedule a make-up lesson date upon the conclusion of the program for those participants who missed lessons for medical reasons or family emergencies.
