Keep the country music going all night at the legendary King Eddy in East Village!

Canadian country star Gord Bamford will hit the stage with his drink along songs for a late-night concert at 11:00 pm on Sunday, August 21.

About Gord Bamford

Gord Bamford stands as one of the most decorated artists in Canadian country music. He has built a loyal fanbase over the past decade. Gord’s captivating live shows have led him to receive 26 Canadian Country Music Association awards and multiple JUNO award nominations. With over 85 million streams and 5 billion audience impressions on radio globally, Bamford is a two-time winner of the CMA Global Country Artist Award, with 27 top 10 singles in Canada, including the no. 1 hits “When Your Lips are so Close” and “Dive Bar”. In 2021, "Dive Bar" hit certified gold status in Canada.

Building off previous successes, Bamford proudly released his 10th studio album, “Diamonds In A Whiskey Glass”, early summer of 2021. This album has had four single releases, including the current hit “Drink Along Song” and “Heaven On Dirt”. Songs from the album have already received over 12 MILLION global streams and continue to receive attention in North America, Australia and beyond.

Gord’s self-named charity, The Gord Bamford Charitable Foundation, has generated over $4.5 MILLION. In fourteen years of operation, it has supported over 63 children’s charities across Canada. He hosted various events, including a CCMA nominated Father’s Day Special, sold out Drive-in Tour and Charity Golf Classic Tournament that raised a combined total of over $400,000.00.

Established in 1905, the King Edward Hotel was Calgary’s second oldest hotel and the longest operating bar and hotel when it closed in 2004. In 2008, the Eddy was acquired by the National Music Centre (NMC) and in collaboration with the City of Calgary.
