North America International Yosakoi Festival

First time ever in North America!

One of the most famous Japanese festivals, the Yosakoi Festival, is coming to Canada — and it’s happening in Lethbridge, Alberta!

A total of 14 teams from Japan, the United States, and across Canada will gather at the beautiful Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden to perform powerful and colorful dances all day long.

Enjoy a full day of exciting performances including:

• 🎉 Opening Parade – Teams march and dance together in a vibrant opening.

• 🏆 Judged Performances – Cheer for your favorites as teams compete for top prizes.

• 💃 Mass Dance (Sou-odori) – Everyone joins together in one giant dance.

• 🌟 Closing Dance – A spectacular finale that unites all dancers and the audience.

📍 Location: Main stage just outside Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden
📅 Dates: Saturday, September 27 & Sunday, September 28, 2025
💲 Admission: Free of charge

Please note the festival will take place outside of Nikka Yuko Garden, You will require additional ticket to go inside of the Garden.
