Join us for the King Eddy Opry — a distinguished evening featuring special performances from the best that country and folk music have to offer at the historic King Eddy, hosted by Calgary's songwriting sweethearts Carter Felker and Amy Nelson.

About Amy Nelson and Carter Felker

Alberta's very own honky-tonk sweethearts, Amy Nelson and Carter Felker, will host our exciting new King Eddy Opry series. Showcasing some of Alberta's finest country and roots music, these two bring their own incomparable blend of storytelling through song, cutting through the noise. No pretension, just good ol' country music.

Contact Information

Established in 1905, the King Edward Hotel was Calgary’s second oldest hotel and the longest operating bar and hotel when it closed in 2004. In 2008, the Eddy was acquired by the National Music Centre (NMC) and in collaboration with the City of Calgary.
