John Rolodex is an iconic Canadian drum & bass artist. For nearly 25 years, he has been shaping the sound of underground DnB through releases on foundational labels such as Metalheadz, Hospital, and V Recordings, along with DJ performances across Canada and in dozens of cities throughout North America and Europe. His work represents a deep connection to the core spirit and culture of drum & bass music.

From developing strong musical ideas and arranging tracks that move a dancefloor, to overcoming writer’s block and avoiding the common traps that stall producers for months, this session focuses on the practical craft of making music that actually works. Rolodex also addresses the realities of the music industry, including how to send demos without burning bridges, how DJs and labels evaluate music, and how artists can define success in a scene where the traditional industry playbook rarely applies.
