Description

Experience the excitement, energy, and artistry of 2026 Joffrey Musical Theater’s Got Talent (JMTGT) — the electrifying culminating performance of the Joffrey Ballet School’s NYC Musical Theater Summer Intensive.

Following an unforgettable summer of elite training with Broadway professionals, students from around the world take the stage for one spectacular evening of live musical theater performance. Featuring large-scale Broadway-style production numbers, live vocals, dynamic choreography, and standout talent performances, 2026 Joffrey Musical Theater’s Got Talent celebrates the passion, creativity, and dedication of the next generation of musical theater artists.

This year’s summer intensive features inspiration and material connected to some of Broadway’s most exciting productions, including MJ The Musical, The Outsiders, Buena Vista Social Club, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, and Death Becomes Her. The program also proudly features & Juliet as the Official Collaborator of the 2026 NYC Musical Theater Summer Intensive, including a special informal showing inspired by the hit Broadway production and exclusive artistic collaboration opportunities woven throughout the student experience.

Directed by Matthew Prescott, with choreography by Katie Drablos and music direction by Scott Evan Davis, the evening also features the highly anticipated JMTGT competition, where selected student finalists perform live as they compete for the title of 2026 JMTGT Champion and scholarship prizes.

Join us for an unforgettable night of Broadway magic, rising stars, and world-class entertainment!
