Description

After a phenomenal event at the Vancouver Writers Fest last year for her best-selling work, The Vagina Bible, NYT columnist and acclaimed OB/GYN Dr. Jen Gunter returns to get “down and dirty” on the myths, misconceptions and misunderstandings of menopause with The Menopause Manifesto: Own Your Health with Facts and Feminism (Penguin Random House Canada).

Witty and magnetic, Dr. Jen Gunter will bring the heat (and hot flashes) to this wickedly fun evening, dismantling misogynistic views on this natural change in women’s bodies, while empowering viewers to reclaim their health at home and in the doctor’s office.

Join us virtually on Wednesday, June 16 at 7pm for an uplifting and deeply informative discussion between Dr. Gunter and Dr. Nicole Todd, an Obstetrician Gynaecologist. Each ticket purchase includes a paperback of The Menopause Manifesto, fulfilled by local bookseller Kidsbooks.
