ICONS Dance Festival

ICONS Dance Festival is an annual event hosted by the Joffrey Concert Group that celebrates the rich tapestry of New York’s heritage dance companies, creates educational opportunities, and fosters a sense of community among young pre-professional dancers.​

On April 18-19, 2026 at Ailey Citigroup Theater, Limón2, BH2, and the Joffrey Concert Group will join together for performances and in a series of masterclasses hosted by the Artistic Directors of each company.

Master Classes:

Dancers ages 14-25 will have the opportunity to learn from the Artistic Directors of NYC's leading dance companies: The Joffrey Concert Group, Limón, and Ballet Hispánico.

Artistic Directors of each company will immerse dancers into the unique approaches that has defined their companies. Dancers will be given the unique opportunity to expand their artistry and refine their approach to movement.

Performances:

The ICONS Dance Festival performance night will showcase a dynamic repertoire, featuring works by the legendary José Limón, performed by Limón2 dancers, as well as compelling compositions by Bradley Shelver and Clifford Williams, performed by the Joffrey Concert Group dancers. Additionally, dancers from BH2 will take the stage, bringing their unique artistry and energy to the festival. This fusion of classical, modern, and contemporary styles promises a captivating experience for audiences of all backgrounds.
