Jane Doe

+ Redwoods

+ Pedler

+ Eleanor Rising

Jane Doe (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/JaneDoeRocks

Jane Doe is not your average young band – not by a long shot. A once in a lifetime set of circumstances brought together two sets of siblings to create music and a mission not seen nor heard in decades.

Redwoods (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/RedwoodsVancouver

From the hills of Vancouver, BC comes a sound that couldn’t be matched by the greatest West Coast Storm. Meet rock band, Redwoods. Their music fuses the best parts of soul, alternative and classic rock and roll with lyrics that pair perfectly with earth-shattering musicality. The band consists of Devon Webber on guitar and lead vocals, Chad Carlsen on bass and back up vocals, Adam Likness on drums and backup vocals and Aydn Graham on guitar. The four have been making music together since high school and their chemistry is palpable in the vibrating warmth of their music.
Redwoods just released their debut album Daybreaker. The well-crafted LP showcases the band’s unyielding talent and passion. Each song generously explores the facets of their opulent music and clever songwriting. There is a profound sincerity to their vulnerable yet exhilarating sound. They recorded the majority of the album with Garth Richardson (Alice Cooper, Big Wreck, Red Hot Chilli Peppers). The production quality is remarkable, every intuitive detail is heard. Redwoods are inspired by the likes of Big Wreck, Audioslave, Foo Fighters and Jimi Hendrix. One can definitely pick up on their diverse influences yet their sound remains completely fresh. Redwoods execute a contemporary flair which combines well with their old school foundation.
Redwoods are beloved in the musically infused city of Vancouver. Their performances are notoriously fun, sweaty and infectious. They breathe life into each member of the room like a contagious rock and roll virus. The band’s hardworking nature translates well into their craft and their songs are packed to the brim with pure heart and soul. This is the kind of music that can’t be faked, it is true blue artistry. Redwoods certainly shimmer in the modern sea of Ableton mumble rap and remind us that music isn’t dying at all. It is alive, well and thriving through Redwoods.

Pedler // (Vancouver) https://www.facebook.com/PedlerMusic

2 piece noisy band from Vancouver BC.

Eleanor Rising // (Vancouver) https://www.facebook.com/EleanorRisingBand

Eleanor Rising is an independent rock band from
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada consisting
of Ryan James (guitar), Rudy Mallari (vocals),
Jared Whitehead (drums), and Luis Carrillo (bass).

With the release of their fourth album, the band
continues to keep their guitar-driven sound firmly
rooted in hard rock, while managing to infuse blues, southern rock, metal, and a hint of bluegrass
making them reminiscent of popular bands, while
maintaining their identity.

The infectious riffs of the songs will have you rocking while
listening to the thought provoking and sometimes poignant lyrics dealing with internal struggles, mental health, soci-political chaos, and love and loss.

Their songs have filtered through a number of
internet rock stations in Canada, the U.S., and the
world. Have a listen — be a fan.

One ear at a time.
