dj poolboi is the moniker of Austin Texas’ resident Adam Ansley. In 2017 Ansley started quietly releasing lo-fi house music under the moniker as a side project. An upload of his track “we can be happy" on the EELF Youtube channel began to pick up viral traction and attention. Channelling his own struggles Ansley crafted a unique form of electronic music creating emotional melodic house and instrumental songs mixing elation and nostalgia with melancholy.

DJ Planet Express is the moniker of Toronto-based electronic artist/producer Joseph Manzoli. A veteran of the Toronto and New York indie music scenes where he split time, Manzoli has lent his talents in the past to projects with celebrated artists including ginla, Katie McBride, Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker, and Nick Hakim. 

His body of work has been rapidly expanding with a steady stream of releases. Initially gaining traction in the lofi house scene in 2018 with his debut EP which has now had over 3 million streams. The budding performer’s sound has aggressively evolved, pulling elements from seminal electronic music genres of the past such as jungle, house, footwerk, juke, ambient, techno, drum & bass, and more.
