Wrapped in the roots of the Reggae family tree, Jah’Mila makes music that is creatively crafted and deeply inspiring. She has toured with towering Reggae bands like The Wailers, Groundation and Black Uhuru among many others. She has been carrying the torch for roots Reggae music in the Maritimes, and she channels her art into a service of advocacy for the systemically oppressed and marginalized. She is passionate about matters of equity and believes that a positive future is possible through community, diversity and inclusion.

Joining her is Ammoye, a unique multidimensional vocalist raised in the tradition of Reggae music. Hailing from Clarendon, Jamaica and now residing in Toronto, this six-time JUNO Award nominee is at the forefront of the genre domestically and making waves internationally. Ammoye is easily cast as one of Canada’s best Reggae and fusion vocalists and considered by many music tastemakers as Canadian Reggae’s “Next Big Thing”. We are thrilled to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 with these two Rising Canadian Reggae stars! Saturday March 8.
