Innovation Week Sneak Peek

Join us for an Innovation Week Sneak Peek on November 14th from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Platform Innovation Centre (on at the KPMG Pitch Stage and West Hall). We will be joined by the Honourable Nate Glubish, Alberta’s Minister of Technology & Innovation.

Innovation Week, presented by the University of Calgary, runs from November 15-23. This celebration brings together the tech community to showcase the people and the ideas that are establishing Calgary as a global tech hub. Innovation Week culminates with the 14th annual Launch Party which celebrates 10 of Calgary’s brightest up-and-coming startups and the people who are building them.

As part of the sneak peek, Minister Glubish will host a fireside chat with Dr. Breanne Everett, Founder & CEO of Orpyx, and Nina Bernasconi one of the first 20 employees at Skip the Dishes and Director of Financial Partners with Neo Financial, who had their companies previously showcased at Launch Party. Through the discussion, we will hear about how much the Calgary ecosystem has evolved since their company was featured and talk about how that showcase propelled her business to the next level.

After the fireside chat, stick around for light refreshments, networking and the Alberta Catalyzer Southern Alberta Showcase, which kicks off at 4:30pm.
