Aster Alice is a nomadic, Ontario based singer-songwriter. Having grown up in British Columbia, she takes inspiration from the perennial relationship she nurtured with nature throughout her life. Described as a hurricane in a woman, she exudes passion through her art. Inspired by artists including Sammy Rae & The Friends, Lime Cordiale, and Aurora, her playing is powerfully evocative, blending both feelings and storytelling into her performances. Aster Alice has been featured at venues such as The Emmett Ray and The Fox On John, holding a weekly residency at the latter. Aster Alice’s dynamic jazz- inspired melodies intertwine with her equivocal lyrics and rhythmic guitar playing, inviting listeners to truly experience the presence moment in a raw and authentic way.
