The Kinonauts have been delighting audiences, developing improvisers, and building community for more than 15 years. Every show is a unique, never to be repeated adventure. Enjoy the tightrope thrill of performers living in the moment. 

Mean Streets

Mean Streets Improv is one of edmontons funniest improv groups. Each month they commit to doing a completely new format where they challenge their skills and experiment with new ideas. They have members spanning from all over edmontons improv scene. Collectively they have won grindstone funniest improviser award, 2 gold medals for cig a nosebowl championship, and most likely to win a maestro. Last year they performed at edmontons fringe festival and are happy to be invited to grindstones comedy fest.

Sorry Not Sorry

From nothing, we create stories, characters, and worlds. From an inkling of an idea, we start a chain of events that grows beyond anything any one of us can possibly conceive. The stage is our ritual site, and the light in our fellow improvisors’ eyes is our spell component. We discover the story in real time, seeking to entertain, but also to connect and evoke emotional responses. Together, players and patrons alike bond over a shared ephemeral experience.
