The Kinkonauts, Calgary's Improv Lab, has delighted audiences with extraordinary unscripted theatre since 2006. Every show is a unique, never to be repeated adventure. Enjoy the tightrope thrill of performers living completely in the moment. Improvised stories and characters you'll still be laughing about at the bar later. 

Improv 302: Story

This is a six week course with sessions running 7:30-9:30pm on the following Tuesdays:

March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8.

Next offering: Tuesdays March 4 - April 8, 2025.

Classes are for students aged 18+

Prerequisites: Improv 101 & 201 (formerly Intro to Improv Part 1 & 2), or 30 hours of improv experience, or equivalent. Email Devin if you have questions about your level of improv.

Telling effective and entertaining stories is what improvisers strive to do! A strong beginning, surprising middle, and satisfying ending are the equation to a great improvised story. Put your skills to work creating scenes your audience will love, in this intermediate workshop.

Instructor: Jenn Bell

Jenn Bell is an improv veteran with over 15 years of stage experience across Calgary, Toronto, Chicago, LA, Vancouver, and Edmonton. Known for her ability to build worlds and uncover stories with her scene partners, Jenn thrives on pushing improvisers to discover new layers of creativity and connection. She’s all about helping newer improvisers step up their game, encouraging them to take risks, trust their instincts, and discover the magic that happens when they truly commit on stage.
