IMMORTAL BACH

With The Festival Orchestra and a quartet of vocal soloists

 

This will be an evening of two choral/orchestral masterworks, one sacred and the other secular - J.S. Bach's stirring 'Ascension' Oratorio/Cantata no. 11 [in a Calgary premiere] and the delightful 'Hunt' Cantata no. 208 featuring the beloved 'Sheep May Safely Graze'.

 

2 hrs in length – with intermission. Doors open 6:45 pm.

Although we recommend masks be worn to continue to protect our community, they are not mandatory for our concerts.
