Tavis E Triance & the Natural Way
Tavis Triance founded Spoon River in 2008 as a way of ‘getting back on the horse’ after the sudden, acrimonious split of The Royal Mountain Band, his up-and-coming Montreal outfit with a cult following.

During a brush with the big screen, Triance appeared as Rick Danko in I’m Not There, the Todd Haynes 2007 biopic about Bob Dylan. In 2008, Spoon River opened for Ronnie Hawkins in Stratford, Ontario as a tribute to the passing of Richard Manuel.

Inspired by influences that range from Roky Eriksson, The Royal Trux, and Link Wray, to Dylan, T Rex and The Rolling Stones, Spoon River recorded their debut album Kingdom of the Burned in Montreal in 2009. Their 2014 follow up The New Sun Ahhhhh Hotel, was recorded at Montreal’s Breakglass Studios and Afterlife Studios in their new hometown, Vancouver. Released via Tonic Records, the album is a tougher, strutting affair that mingles their many musical influences with garage rock and neo-psychedelia. - https://www.facebook.com/TheNaturalWayBand/
