Hungry Lake w/ Mike Legere Band and Cosmic Drifter

Hungry Lake is a psychedelic folk rock band from Toronto. Music for folks who are a little weird maybe. Lyrically grounded songs with productions that are not afraid to lift into the air. They’ve existed in some form for 20 years fronted by Joe Thomas and Ryan Webb. The duo first met in college studying music production and soon found a commonality of tastes and styles. Over the years they have evolved from that original lineup that had Ryan on drums with Joe handling most of the guitar work. Currently performing as a 4 piece live, the band has been cultivating a more sombre approach to their sound. Still their sound growls live with swirling fizzy guitar, thumping bass, ethereal twiddling, and the pounding rhythm of some giant unearthly worm.
