Based on the beloved book by award-winning Irish author Oliver Jeffers, Branar Teatar do Pháistí are proud to present How to Catch a Star. This adaptation combines puppetry, a magical original score, and Branar’s signature storytelling to remind us all to follow our dreams.

How to Catch a Star is about a wee lad searching for his lost heritage among the stars as his old wise grandmother has told him to do. One boy’s adventure of search and longing, or rather, one charming puppet’s tale of searching the night sky – and his adventures doing it.

This whimsical, delicate puppet show is performed with outstanding skill by Ireland’s seminal puppet company for young people. Branar has won awards in Ireland and throughout Europe for its clever skills at adapting and creating narratives that embrace the native culture of Irish folk tale and bring them to life.

Branar Teatar do Pháistí est fier de présenter How to Catch a Star, pièce tirée du livre bien-aimé de l’auteur irlandais primé Oliver Jeffers. Cette adaptation comprend des marionnettes, une musique originale magique et la narration caractéristique de Branar et vise à nous rappeler à tous de suivre nos rêves.

How to Catch a Star raconte l’histoire d’un petit garçon à la recherche de son héritage perdu parmi les étoiles, comme sa vieille et sage grand-mère lui a dit de le faire. L’aventure d’un garçon qui cherche et se languit, ou plutôt, le récit d’une charmante marionnette qui cherche le ciel nocturne… et ses aventures.

Ce spectacle délicat est interprété avec un talent exceptionnel par la principale compagnie irlandaise de marionnettes fantaisiste pour jeunes. Branar a remporté des prix en Irlande et dans toute l’Europe pour son habileté à adapter et à créer des récits qui embrassent la culture irlandaise des contes populaires et leur donnent vie.
