Homeschooler Days: Feb. 28, 2024

Join us and experience a variety of curriculum-based school programs that allow children to explore history as close to first hand as possible! Using a variety of activities, our interpreters will lead children through a thoughtful, fun and exciting day they won’t soon forget! Important Additional Information

• Registrations are for full day only.
• No younger siblings are allowed to attend with the registered student. 
• All programs run for the same amount of time and have the same price.
• Each program is limited to 15 participants with a guardian/teacher.
• Please register early to ensure your spot.
• On the morning of the field trip, check-in will be in Burn’s Barn.

Grades 1-3 - It's All Around Us

Explore nature in all its wonder – weather, animal life cycles, seasons, and the scientific explanations behind them! Learn about the colour wheel and experiment with water and paint. Visit the Settlement to search for animal tracks and create your own Little Garden on the Prairie craft.

 

Grades 4-6 - Innovations and Inventions

Take a journey through time to learn about inventions and the mechanical science that helped develop them. Develop and create an old-fashioned toy, visit our windmill and water wheel, and build your own water pump.
