Description

Ottawa’s only Hip Hop Jam session is coming to Red Bird, and will be a strong edition to Red Bird’s monthly music series. The event will feature a live band, open community stage, visual art showcases, and a wide range of cocktails and food.

 

Every month:

Will be featuring a different Emcee that will host the show with our house Emcee Nick Pouponneau (of Zoo Legacy). Backed with a full live band Andrew and The Capital Collective, these showcases are bound to instil a deep love and connection to the incredible Hip Hop scene that we carry in the Capital city!

Bobby Brugal

Pittsburgh-raised, Ottawa-based Hip Hop artist Bobby Brugal encapsulates what it means to be Creative. 

Between his well-documented independent musical career, he is the founder of the lifestyle brand “Pvstlife Products”. Bobby Brugal has become a staple in hosting with his podcast “Nutes”, and now the In-Arena Host for the Ottawa BlackJacks.

His charisma, energy and passion are undeniable to the culture and his presence is felt in every room he enters. 

In the last few years, Bobby Brugal has truly made a name for himself in the creative media space throughout the United States and Canada and plans on bringing more projects to fruition while growing his brand.

Important Notes:

  1. Every Instrument will be provided by the house.
  2. Access to stage is a first-come, first-serve process.
  3. The amount of instruments and microphones present on the stage will determine how many can stay on the stage at one time.
  4. We will have the “RED BIRD PICK” of the night. This pick will be chosen by staff at Red Bird and will encourage one participant of the night to close the show with another performance. 
  5. There will be opportunities to network and possibly be featured in future events as a featured emcee or instrumentalist.

Red Bird is an 80 capacity soft seat venue located in Old Ottawa South. We've designed and programmed the space to give the best experience in live music for Canadian and International musicians and concert goers.
