A young female intern at a small magazine company and a drug-addicted lesbian photographer slowly fall in love while exploiting each other to advance their respective careers in Lisa Choldenko’s 1998 indie film classic, now digitally restored in 4K for the first time. 

Nominated for six Film Independent Spirit Awards (with Ally Sheedy winning for Best Lead Performance), HIGH ART announced Cholodenko as a filmmaker to watch.

Digitally restored by the Academy Film Archive and UCLA Film & Television Archive, in conjunction with Sundance Institute, from the 35mm original picture negative and DA-88 tapes.
