Description

‘Cam Clark Ford’ proudly presents - THE HALLOWEEN DRIVE-IN 2022 at Parkland Mall in Red Deer.

Load up the car (& trunk) with family & friends and come enjoy a spooky Halloween movie under the stars in a fun classic Drive-In!

Come out on FRIDAY OCTOBER 28 and celebrate Halloween with us.  Fresh Air Cinema is supplying Canada's largest Drive-In-Cinema screen system.

This is a DOUBLE FEATURE event and parking passes are sold separately for each event.

There will be two movies played...

#1) 6:45pm FAMILY Movie = "GOONIES (1985)". Gates open at 5:15pm for parking. A great all-time-favorite movie for the whole family!

#2) 10:30pm ADULT Movie = "BEETLEJUICE". Gates open @ 9:15pm for parking.  The famous Cult Classic that must be experienced at a Halloween Drive-In event.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFO

If the movie cannot be shown on the scheduled date due to bad weather then we will run the event on the following date (ie: SAT.OCT.29th) and if the event cannot be executed due to ‘Force Majeure’ (ie: government or regulatory restrictions or circumstances outside our control) then the event will either be rescheduled to another future date or refunds will be issued.  In this situation notifications will be sent out and only tickets purchased through the ticketing platform will be credited or refunded.

This exclusive Drive-in-Cinema event will adhere to all guidelines and protocols as recommended by AHS (Alberta Health Service) as well as all provincial and local public health mandates. Guests and staff will adhere to any current AHS and provincial / local guidelines as well as the event organizer’s rules or regulations.

WASHROOMS - there will be portable toilets on site.

LIGHTS - please keep your vehicle headlights shut off during the event.  Learn how to do this with your vehicle running as well because you may need to re-start your vehicle at some point during the event to prevent your battery from going dead.  Running the radio for the full length of the movie without starting your car is increasing the risk that your battery will die by the end of the event. If you have a dead battery please come see one of our staff for help.

FOOD/DRINKS - there will be a concession tent on site serving popcorn, drinks and pizza. Parkland Mall has a food court as well that you can access. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks inside your vehicle.

ENTERING SITE - when you enter the gate control access point please show a copy of the Showpass ticket and keep this copy with you at all times in case someone asks to see it again.

SITE STAFF - our on site staff will be identifiable by the reflective vests they are wearing. If you have a question or safety issue please flag down or approach one of our staff for answers or help.  All staff will have communication radios to communicate with other members in a timely manner.

NO REFUNDS – once you buy a ticket there is no refunds or credits.

Venue staff reserves the right to move and park cars as needed and will park vehicles based on size.

Guests must follow venue speed limits, cones and marked lanes.

Advertised start time is approximate.

Guests must adhere to all venue rules and policies as well as provincial and local laws.

Children should not be left unattended.

PETS - are permitted as long as they are on a leash when on the parking lot, and stay inside the vehicle during the show. YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET.

AUDIO – the sound will be broadcast through FM radio. Make sure your FM radio is working before coming.

HEADLIGHTS must be turned off when facing the screen. It is a good idea to bring a blanket with or something that can be used to cover up your headlights in case there is a problem with the functioning of the control switch to shut off the headlights.

GARBAGE - Litter bins are conveniently located throughout the premises. Please use them, DO NOT LITTER. Better yet — take your litter with you when you leave;)

SPEED - drive slowly for your safety and those around you and abide by all traffic control personnel.

PARKING - you are responsible for parking your vehicle in the designated spot - safely. Our on site staff only show you 'where' to park and NOT 'How' to park. Know your surroundings and be careful when parking so as not to hit other vehicles. Any accident you cause is your responsibility and you will need to deal with the other drivers involved and respective insurance claims.
