Shirley Gnome, a Juno-nominated comedian, songwriter and vocalist from Vancouver, BC, is celebrated for blending satirical country, rock, and folk with dark pop parodies. Her witty, subversive lyrics tackle provocative topics, captivating audiences with both playful and biting content. Gnome has earned rave reviews and accolades in five countries. She’s performed at major festivals like The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, and JFL Vancouver. Gnome has been featured on CBC Radio’s The Debaters, CBC Gem’s The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Sirius XM. In 2021, her album Decoxification earned a Juno Award nomination. In 2024, she made her television debut at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival’s TV galas on CBC Gem. Her latest album, Live Bare & Natural, was released on March 27th, 2025.
